Tapping the maples — New Hampshire is one of the major maple syrup producing states in the world and this is the season to tap the maples. This photograph was taken at Bald Peak Farm in Tuftenboro where sap taken from these buckets gets boiled down to produce a fine grade of pure maple syrup.
