a new perspective — It finally happened... I purchased a Digital SLR Camera. To be specific, a Nikon D50. It was between this camera and the Canon Digital Rebel XT. They're both great camera's, similarly priced, though the Nikon had an added advantage for me. I have an old Nikon FM2 SLR and wanted to be able to use my manual Tameron 80 - 210 zoom lens with the new camera. Plus, I worked briefly at a ski resort in northern New Hampshire earlier this year photographing tourists on waterslides, horseback, and other assorted activities using a Nikon D50 camera and liked the feel of it. So the Nikon was an obvious choice for me.
