Steve Earle — played a selection from his new CD at the VOTE for Justice and Peace Rally held in Concord, NH Friday. I stood about five feet from Steve as he awaited his turn on stage. People seemed to leave him alone, myself included, unlike what you might think would happen when someone famous appears in public. Of course, I didn't want to give up my vantage near the front of the stage.
