Roadtrip — I decided to visit Portland Maine this morning since it is now only an hours drive from here. It's been at least 20 years since I last visited. I believe I only scratched the surface of what is to photograph, though. And, I also believe I may have captured my next series from this very day's visit. After sifting through about 100 photographs taken today, I chose 12 for a new series, yet to be released. But, there is a problem. I also want to enter the 28mm Coffee Table Book submissions due on January 31, 2005, and cannot enter any photographs previously published. I believe the selections I would choose from this series to enter are THAT good and could get me the opportunity to be published, should they get selected. What a dilemma. I do have a couple months to think about it, and perhaps photograph something equally to my liking.
