New view — This week I discovered I can see the snow capped White Mountains "Presidential Range" along Route 16, from about a miles drive from my house. This was news to me. Since August, I've been enjoying the incredible view of Mount Chocorua along this stretch of road, though never suspected anything more from this far away. It was this weeks snow on the higher elevations that gave it away, separating the White Mountains, from the Presidential's.

Today I drove to the base of Mount Washington to get a closer look. This photo shows the Mount Washington Hotel with the snow capped Presidential's behind it.
